How we know a ticker is halal

We don't certify compliance — Thndr does

Every Sharia-compliance label in Pulse EGX comes from the official Thndr app. Thndr vets and labels each EGX ticker as Sharia-compliant (or not) through its own screening, adhering to recognised standards. That vetting is manual, expert work — and it is theirs, not ours.

Thndr relies on official Sharia Supervisory Boards, recognized by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) in Egypt, rather than doing the compliance checking themselves. These committees analyze and approve specific companies, funds, and indices based on Islamic finance guidelines.

What Pulse EGX actually does

We are an aggregator. We take the set of tickers Thndr labels as Sharia-compliant, group them into one universe, and run technical signals on that set. We do not add, remove, or override Thndr's compliance decisions — we surface and organise them.

03

Your responsibility

Because the compliance determination is Thndr's, any decision you make based on it — and any app built on Thndr's labelling, including Pulse EGX — inherits that source. Compliance can change over time, and standards differ between scholars. Always verify a ticker's status in Thndr and consult a qualified advisor before acting.

Pulse EGX is an educational aggregator. It is not a Sharia authority and does not provide financial advice.
