EGX Market Data API

A simple REST API for Sharia-screened Egyptian Exchange data — the same data that powers Pulse EGX. Universe, live quotes, daily history and technical indicators. Free while in beta.

Base URLhttps://api.pulseegx.hatemsoliman.dev

Why this API

  • One source of truth — the same engine behind our signals.
  • Sharia universe ready-made — no scraping or list-building.
  • Clean JSON, sensible caching, OpenAPI reference.

The data

The Sharia universe is aggregated from Thndr's official labelling (see our methodology). Prices and indicators are computed from daily market data.

How we determine compliance →
Data availability

/v1/tickers always lists the full Sharia universe. Live quotes and indicators depend on the upstream source, so a thinly-traded ticker may not have enough history yet — those return 422 insufficient_data (vs 404 for an unknown symbol, or 502 if the source is unreachable). /v1/signals and /v1/summary simply skip tickers without data.

Authentication

Public data endpoints need no key — just call them. The BUY/HOLD/SELL signals are private (they power the paid product) and require an API key. Want signal access? Get in touch.

Signals stay private

The BUY/HOLD/SELL signals power the paid Telegram product, so they aren't part of the public API. Need signal access for your app? Get in touch.
